We have nurtured our development by attracting high quality companies that provide a diversity of working opportunities for our residents. The area has expanded its parks and recreational areas significantly over the past few years with much more on the way. Osceola has created an environment for living that is unsurpassed in our area. Osceola offers excellent education opportunities. Clarke Community Schools have approximately 1,400 students in kindergarten through 12th grade and nearby Murray Community School also serves kindergarten through 12th grades. Quality preschool and daycare are available at The Village, a non-profit community-based facility. Preschool is also available at Over The Rainbow preschool offered at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Higher and vocational education is available at Southwestern Community College which has a center in Osceola. Graceland University in Lamoni, Simpson College in Indianola, and Buena Vista University’s Creston center are all located within 35 miles of Osceola.
