“As a member of the Clarke County Development Corporation and a Hospital Trustee,” said Amy Lampe, “I am honored to recognize all the employees of Clarke County Hospital. Even when dealing with the pandemic on a personal level, these dedicated individuals worked to keep our citizens informed, enabling local companies to carry on their daily business as best they could. CCDC, the Hospital Trustees, and the community appreciate the stellar work the staff carries out every day, especially when dealing with COVID-19.”

The Hospital was commended for its proactive leadership in helping the county prepare and plan for COVID-19. “On behalf of the staff and providers at Clarke County Hospital, thank you for the recognition of the work that the Hospital did during the pandemic,” said Brian Evans, CEO of Clarke County Hospital. “I am proud of the dedication and commitment of our Hospital team during a very challenging time. We should all be proud of the strong collaboration within our community during the pandemic”, he went on to say. “We’d also like to thank Clarke County Development Corporation for the donation related to the “Directors’ Award. CCDC is committed to workforce development.”

CCH was awarded $1,500, which will go toward the Hospital’s Auxiliary Scholarship Fund. This fund supports workforce development for Clarke County individuals interested in working in the healthcare field. The Hospital is dedicated to supporting education and training in the healthcare field and recognizes that our future workforce are the individuals we actively participate in educating now.
