Thursday Evening, Osceola’s Mayor, Thomas Kedley sat for his first dose of the Maderna COVID-19 vaccination. Distributed through Clarke County Public Health, Kedley, who is also an educator, was able to schedule an appointment and receive the initial dose with ease. This dose prepares him for a second to be distributed after a 28-day waiting period.

“This is one of the easiest things you can do to help protect yourself and those you love from COVID-19,” said Kedley. “Quick, simple, and somewhat painless… this vaccine is going to help us all get back to life as normal.”

The video, shared by Kedley at the time of his vaccination, shows how quick and painless the procedure is. Clarke County Public Health has a schedule of vaccinations for citizens who meet the criteria within the various phases. To sign up, visit their Web site at https://clarkecountypublichealth.org.
