Toys for Christmas Awarded $5,000 at Community Nonprofit Forum

The recent Community Nonprofit Forum hosted by CCDC provided more than the opportunity for nonprofit organizations to present their platforms and missions to help the community. It also provided a huge boost to the lucky winner of a $5,000 donation drawn from names of those attending the event.
Just in time for the holidays, this year’s recipient was Clarke County’s Toys for Christmas organization.

Murray Emergency Vehicle Finally Delivered with Help of 2020 CCDC Grant

After more than three years, the Murray Fire Department has their new emergency vehicle! After receiving a 2020 CCDC Pillars grant for more than $50K, the process of building and acquiring the equipment for the new vehicle was stalled out by COVID and increasing materials costs.

With CCDC Support, County Moves Forward with Records Digitization

With funding earmarked from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) as well as a discretionary grant from the Clarke County Development Corporation (CCDC), the Clarke County Supervisors decided to move forward with the completion of records digitization and archiving for both the Clarke County Recorder’s and the Clarke County Auditor’s offices.
