63,000 square feet – that’s a lot of space. Can you imagine the great things that can be done in a space like that? Well, the planners, architects, administrators, and staff at Clarke County Hospital could, and on Sunday June 26th, they held a Grand Opening celebration unveiling the hospital’s newest renovations in Osceola.
The Open House hosted community members, Clarke County Hospital staff and their families, as well as heard presentations from Lieutenant Governor Kim Reynolds, UnityPoint Clinics Vice President of Operations, Matthew Romanin, Osceola Mayor Thomas Kedley, and Clarke County Hospital CEO Brian Evans.

The hospital expansion broke ground in April of 2015, and was officially open on May 23rd. The Outpatient Services Center opened on June 13th. The expansion and renovations include new clinical spaces for the UnityPoint Clinic and Clarke County Hospital Outpatient Services Center, new examination rooms and infusion rooms to accommodate more providers, specialties, and treatments including next-generation technology with telemedicine and video conferencing.
