The loss of Dr. Jim and Mary Ellen Kimball has impacted the entire community. From Jim’s role as physician and local business leader to Mary Ellen’s tireless commitment to the arts and community groups, their passing will impact lives for years to come. Clarke County Hospital had dedicated a memorial space where friends and neighbors can gather to offer their thoughts and prayers for the Kimballs.

SWCCs Fall 2025 semester is bringing changes to the applied engineering technology program. With the opening of the CCDC ORBIT Center in Osceola, Iowa, the coursework that was once held at the Creston, IA Campus will be moved to the new ORBIT Center.
