(OSCEOLA, IA – APRIL 21, 2016) The average social media platform is rolling up on a milestone anniversary this year. After 10 years of Tweeting, Posting, Pinning and more, has the business world seen a benefit to social media marketing? Or do business owners still think platforms like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest – with user populations ranging from tens of millions to a Billion are a passing fad?

How does a business connect with its audience through Facebook? How can a 140 character “Tweet” capture the attention of your targeted audience? Does your business need a blog? These questions and their answers are ever-evolving, so Clarke County Development Corporation decided to bring in Andrew B. Clark, President and The Brand Chef from SPOKE Communications to discuss how businesses can take advantage of the social media marketing landscape.

In a free luncheon being held at the Development Corporation from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on April 22nd, Businesses and entrepreneurs interested in using the reach of social media to build stronger online brands and grow audiences will work though and discuss those questions and more. The “Lunch & Learn” will cover the basics of a number of relevant social media platforms and how they pertain to business marketing. The presentation will also offer a question and answer period where business owners and marketers can discuss strategies, best practices and more.

To sign up for the workshop, simply contact Elizabeth Simpson at the Clarke County Development Corporation via phone – 641-342-2944 or email at [email protected] to make your reservation.
